Drugstore chain Rite Aid added three Bay Area stores this month to its growing list of nationwide store closures. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year and said it would close some 150 stores. The new Bay Area stores that are closing are:

1030 South White Road, San Jose

1650 Decoto Road, Union City

910 Diablo Avenue, Novato

Approximately 200 stores and counting across the country have already been shuttered as part of the company’s restructuring plan. This includes at least 31 closed stores in California. Previous closures in the Bay Area also included 968 Murrieta Blvd. in Livermore.

The pharmacy chain is struggling with declining sales and several opioid-related lawsuits.
