Photos: Fry’s Electronics closes, along with their distinctive themed stores

A Mayan temple, a spacecraft, and a slot machine are just some of the 31 stores now closed

Fry’s Electronics, the one-stop-shop for consumer electronics, has ceased operations permanently. Many of the Fry’s stores featured a distinctive theme, like the north San Jose store that featured a Mayan theme designed to resemble parts of the ancient temple at Chichen Itza.

Below are photos of some of the other Fry’s distinctively themed locations. All 31 stores are now closed.
