Rapper Tyga has sold his modern lakefront home, a short drive from the Empire Polo Club in Indio, for $5.1 million.

That’s 13.6% down from the initial $5.9 million asking price in June.

Located in Shadow Lake Estates, this 6,000-square-foot home built on a two-thirds-acre-plus lot in 2018 is primed for hosting festival-going friends and keeping them entertained with water sports on the lake. It backs onto a pool and spa, a sandy beach and a boat dock with a lift.

Records show Raww Investments LLC, a limited liability company that the Los Angeles Times reported as linked to Tyga, bought the property for $3.9 million in September 2020. A colleague of Jenell VanDenBos, the Coldwell Banker Realty agent who handled both sides of the Aug. 19 deal, confirmed the connection to the 33-year-old rapper in a social media post highlighting the sale.

The desert home integrates indoor and outdoor spaces with sliding glass walls for resort-style living.

Inside are four bedrooms, six bathrooms and designated entertainment spaces for movie watching and games.

A great room, anchored by a soaring fireplace under a high vaulted wood-beamed ceiling, combines the living and dining areas and opens to a kitchen with two islands, one of which has a breakfast bar seating area. There’s also a butler’s pantry and an open wine cellar.

Outdoor spaces include a covered living area.

Tyga, born Michael Ray Stevenson, released his first studio album “No Introduction” in 2008. He has since produced a string of party anthems and worked with everyone from Drake to Megan Thee Stallion. More recently, Tyga and fellow West Coast rapper YG teamed up for “West Coast Weekend” featuring Blxst, “Platinum” and “Birthday” with Saweetie. He will be co-headlining the STR8 to the Klub Tour with YG and Saweetie this fall, with stops at the Toyota Arena in Ontario on Sept. 29 and the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Nov. 22.
