Renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz is listing her picture-perfect coastal farm in Bolinas for $8.995 million.
Coincidentally, the barn on the 65-acre property was once photographed by another legendary photographer, Ansel Adams. Today, the barn sits in a modern equestrian facility with a riding arena, other livestock stalls, and pastures to roam.
Another barn structure was transformed to a recording studio by previous owner financier Warren Hellman, who founded the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco. He also hosted private concerts on the property.
The main residence has been renovated and touts four bedrooms. There is also a guest house and a two-bedroom caretaker’s home. Picturesque views from the property abound and include Stinson Beach, Mount Tamalpais, and San Francisco.
Nick Svenson and Alexander Lurie with Compass are the listing agents.
Leibovitz is known for her intimate photos of celebrities published in outlets such as Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and others.
