Pop legend Paul Anka has put his Thousand Oaks estate on the market for $10 million.

Decorated with Anka’s gold records in MLS photos, this 7,791-square-foot French-style residence features four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It sits at the end of a long driveway on nearly six acres, making it one of the “largest privately gated lots” in Sherwood Country Club, as the listing notes, and offers mountain views.

Records show the “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” crooner bought the newer property in 2007 for $3.96 million.

He’s since updated it. Improvements include a gourmet kitchen and butler’s pantry, a second bathroom and dressing room in the primary suite, a billiard room, and a recording studio.

The kitchen has a spacious central island with seating and opens to a breakfast nook and the family room. There’s a formal dining room with a fireplace.

Designer lighting fixtures, stone floors, and high ceilings create a luxurious interior with disappearing glass walls that offer panoramic views and direct access to the backyard.

The grounds include an infinity-edge pool and a detached glass-enclosed, air-conditioned gym with a full bathroom and an outdoor shower.

Mary Ann Scott of Beverly and Company, LLC, and Team Nicki LaPorta and Karen Crystal at Compass share the listing.

Anka, who was born in Ottawa in 1941, got his start as a teen idol in the late 1950s with hits like “Diana,” “Lonely Boy” and “Put Your Head on My Shoulder.” He went on to compose “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” theme and numerous chart-toppers, including Tom Jones’ “She’s a Lady” and the English lyrics for Frank Sinatra’s signature “My Way.”

Now 82, Anka continues to perform. He will bring his “Seven Decades Tour” to the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert on Jan. 9 and 10 and the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills on Jan. 12.
