We completely rebuilt the site on the WordPress VIP platform to make it faster, whether you’re on a smartphone or desktop computer. The crisp design is optimized for your phone or tablet and also makes browsing easier on the desktop. It highlights the important stories of the moment and helps you to find everything on topics you’re passionate about. You’ll also find a feed of stories from our SiliconBeat.com tech blog.
We simplified the site navigation. We reduced the confusing clutter on the main sports, business, entertainment and other pages. And you’ll also notice fewer ads on each page; those that remain will be more attractive, interactive and engaging for both advertisers and readers.
We redesigned the article pages to better display photos and videos. You’ll find more helpful links to related content as well as other recommended stories. We improved our social sharing buttons to make it easier for you to share an article with friends. Click on the topic tags you find at the end of each story to go directly to a page with more of that content. We are highlighting article commenting activity so you can see the stories that other readers are discussing.
