Team RWB announces $6 million investment from MacKenzie Scott
ATLANTA, GA - Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB), a nonprofit organization forging America’s leading health and wellness community for veterans, has announced a $6 million gift from author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott. The investment will support the advancement of Team RWB’s infrastructure, offering military veterans more opportunities to build a healthier lifestyle.
After a thorough examination of Team RWB’s impact on the veteran community, financials, and nonprofit business practices, MacKenzie Scott’s transformational investment demonstrates a growing momentum among philanthropists and corporate partners to help fund Team RWB’s mission and vision.
Founded in 2010, Team RWB has grown into a 200,000-member strong community, powered by more than 150 chapters and a mobile application, rated at 4.8 stars by 3,500 reviewers. Team RWB’s on-the-ground operations and mobile App offer veterans, including those in rural areas, both real-life and virtual opportunities to improve their mental and physical health. MacKenzie Scott’s gift will enable Team RWB to expand its programs and enhance its user experience—meeting veterans wherever they are in their health and wellness journey.
